Husqvarna Concrete Floor Grinder

Due to a number of requests for a diamond floor grinder we are pleased to announced we have recently added to the hire fleet a Husqvarna PG280 diamond floor grinder. This machine is perfect for stripping old floor coatings such as glues and resins left over from vinyl floor tiles. Or fitted with coarse grinding blocks it can be used to reduce concrete floor levels making it the perfect tool to use before laying a floor screed.

Available to hire at either our Semley or Evercreech store and for as little as £60+vat.

Dorset Hire Services Choose Takeuchi Excavators

After running a mixture of CAT and Hanix Excavators Dorset and Somerset Hire Services will be switching to Takeuchi Excavators. We will be adding 1 ton, 1.5 ton, 3 ton and 6 ton excavators to the hire fleet over the coming months.

The Takeuchi brand is known for it’s quality and it’s excavators are world leading. We chose to go with Takeuchi after feedback from customers and the support offered by the Takeuchi dealer, Webb Plant Sales.
